I’ve been on the hunt for pendant lighting to spruce upÂ Gather, my new gift shop, coffee & tea, coworking hybrid space in downtown Cary. When researching for items to purchase I like to cast a wide net, hopefully finding the most expensive looking piece for the least amount of money. The other day, as luck would have it, I found this huge Tole chandelier for only $50 at my local Habit ReStore, a shop that sells salvaged materials and goods from homes that have been demoed. I like to buy thrifted, salvaged and reused items as often as possible. I haven’t yet decided whether to keep the light green or to spray paint it a gold/copper color or even black.
