I’ve been eying this fabric for awhile and am finally ready to order it. I think it will look great as a window treatment in my bathroom which is painted a deep stone/tan/gray color. I have a fancy white mirror above the tub a la this one below and galvanized & hammered tin accents and I think this color and pattern will pull it all together nicely. It takes me awhile to mull over design decisions and I’m glad to have this one figured out.

How gorgeous and light-filled is this textile studio? I love the floors and high ceilings and could really see myself in a space like this. A girl can dream right? Ink & Spindle is three Melbourne-based ladies who have followed their passion for designing fabrics and started their own textiles company. Their fabrics are hand-printed and feature organic shapes and patterns. I especially like this ginkgo print below.

You can read more about the designers and their shop on their blog and shop for their products online.

Lately I’ve been working on designing patterns and hand printing on fabric. It is something that has always inspired me. I find this hand printed tablecloth from etsy seller margotbianca especially beautiful. This piece is sold out but you can find similar items at her shop here.
