It was a bit of a challenge sprucing up our empty store front space for the silent auction that we hosted last week. The space is vast and there isn’t a lot in the way of furniture in there, not to mention the glaring fluorescent lights that are hanging just a bit too low. We added a lot of festive balloons and got creative with scraps of fabric and I think we did a good job with what we had.
We had so many awesome donations at the event. I think we’ll even host an online sale for those goods that didn’t get bids for those of you who weren’t able to make it to the event. A lot sold, but we still have many amazing things left if you want to help support our non-profit space and aren’t nearby.
Here is our impromptu information table, a dinged up old dresser that I got from The Salvation Army and painted white. The locker was also an inexpensive vintage find. The swag was leftover from the window display and was made up of white paper flowers.
