I actually heard Ben Silbermann talk about his company at the Alt Summit I attended in January. He was so genuine and down-to-earth that his sincere business ideals moved me to tears. The conference was for design bloggers, so for most of us, long cataloging our visual inspirations in journals, magazine tear sheets and blogs, the launch of Pinterest was an intuitive answer to something we’d been waiting for.
I find it fascinating that you can watch of the minute trends emerge as other people are pinning what they find appealing. And, I like to see what you all find interesting by the pins you post from my site.
I thought the museum did a great job hosting the event. Here are some cool centerpieces that were on the tables.
Since the new wing of the museum opened I’ve had my eye on that branch art and have wanted to do a photo shoot in front of it.
My panel mate (and neighbor) Amanda, of Wit & Whistle humored me for a short second. I was also joined on the panel by Cynthia of Ornamentea and Lee from NC State. Are you on Pinterest? If so, leave your page in the comments section. I’d love to see!
