I’ve never really thought of myself as a collector, but I am. I can’t pass up beautiful vintage linens, aprons, tea towels but oftentimes they stay hidden in the cabinet. One day, I realized that they would be much prettier (and enjoyed daily) if I made a few of them into pillows.
These are simple to make even if you don’t have much sewing experience. I like to add a zipper to the bottom of mine, but it would be even quicker to forgo the zipper.
Here is a simple pillow tutorial that doesn’t include a zipper, and another tutorial for making a pillow with a zipper.
If you make one for your own home, send along a picture – I’d love to see!
